To provide advice, training, support and employment opportunities for disadvantaged people.

Company Profile

Formed as a charitable company in 1995, Workmatch provides training and support for  disadvantaged people to help them prepare for and find places in the ordinary work environment. To do this it was necessary to provide work environments within which to train. Thus 'projects' were developed. Each now runs as a business within Workmatch but is required to trade commercially to help fund the overall charity. There are currently four businesses, known collectively as Bizmatch.

Always connected to the world of the disabled , Workmatch worked closely with the advice service for disabled people, DIAL. In 2003 Workmatch and the advice service, by then known as ABLE, merged. ABLE retains its identity within the company.
